good job!! i was hunting high uintahs too but when it came down to my last day i didnt pull it together on my nice 5x5....

mind if i ask general area?

Good job that area is a tough hunt but there are always elk in there it seems. I was up there the last week and it was hot and not to many were tlaking but had a few within range just couldnt make it happen. Good job man

great job! thats a general OTC tag isn't it? i always like seeing pics of guys doing good in general areas. it'll make it SO much easier when you draw a great tag. :thumb

General area North Slope. I was on my own, and managed to call him in. He came in silent and was distracted by my Montana Decoy, while i zipped my FMJ G5 Striker in him at 30 yards Tracking was non existent he went 40 yrds and expired. Thought i was in real trouble till i managed to coax some close friends that were hunting in another drainage to come help...he's at the taxi now, nothing like spending the christmas bonus before it comes, if it is a membership to the jelly of the month club i'm screwed! LOL

That's a fine job on a great looking elk. In all my time in that area I have yet to see a bull. I guess that is why I haven't hunted it yet. :)
