2010 started off right

My daughter has been bugging me to go coyote calling and so we headed out to the west desert early new years morning. We got nothing on the first several stands, then this young guy suprised us and had us busted at 150 yds. He took off, but I could tell that he wasn't sure and soon he started doing that coyote trot that says," I'm gonna stop and look back one more time." He stopped and the range finder read 541. I didn't know how much time he was going to give me, but when the crosshairs settled I gave him a hundred grain happy new years! We saw two more nice looking dogs from the truck, but they wanted no part of us closing the distance to within shooting range for my daughter. Happy New Year to everyone.
