4 seasons - my cabin (my wooden tent)

This is the place where my heart is - I have been going here for 15 years - it is the place I run to when I need to have down time to get back to what life really means to me.

I feel lucky to live in a place where we can experience 4 seasons

That must be terrible having it so close to the water like that. Having them dang fish slapping the water with their tails keeping you up at night, waterfowl in the sping and fall, probably even have wildlife trespassing on your property just to get a drink of water.

I guess if you don't mind those kind of happenings then it is a very nice little shack in the woods. lol

I think that is a good couple hours drive from Kansas here. lol

 Yes it is In BC - Place called 100 mile house - the lake is canim Lake - 25 miles long and 5 miles wide - our cabin is on 33 acres and has 1.5 miles of beach front - no power unless we run the generator which is for meal prep time - a wood stove and a propane stove - running water if the creek has water running other wise we bucket the water in from the lake and if we want hot water - there is a copper coil running to an old hot water tank and the wood stove - the heat from the wood stove runs through the coil and heats the water in the tank :)
