5 days later but i got him

Well guys im new here but thought i would post my story
i ended up shootin at a 4X4 Muley wednesday and when i shot he jumped and i gut shot him. well after i shot i let him set and he went down bout 75 yards and crossed a road and when a truck drove by it bumped him down and across the road again when that truck drove by again he bumped him further and he was gone. we lost the blood trail no tracks and it got dark so we headed home. the next day i had to work so my buddy went out lookin for him and he found nothin new walked down into the bottom of a gulch he was headed for and just couldnt find anything so we went out friday and nothin i walked holes in my boots with no avail. i had to work saturday again and today. so soon as i got off work i headed up not thinkin i would find him i kinda gave up hope. then after drivin past the area i kept drivin and when i came back seen some does so i got out and looked at them a while and heard some crows goin nuts so ifigured id go check it out. down the gulch again and up ontop of a ridge. i walked further and the crows had stopped talkin i about said o well and turned around when i heard a crow 50 yards away and decided to go check it out. i got to a spot and heard some coyotes take off and about 50 crows fly away i looked over and there he was. they had eaten everything i was pretty mad but glad that i found him he was a bit bigger than i thought he was and even though there was no meat left i was just glad to have him. but anyways im glad that even after that truck bumped him he didnt go to super far bout a mile from where i let the arrow fly. thanks for checkin out my story and i was super happy for my first archery hunt and first buck
