A few Elk pictures

I was doing some scouting when I came across this bull. He is in a trophy area so no shooting him, but I watched him chase this spike off. I guess the rut is starting!

Nice bull nice pictures its starting up for sure a few days ago we called in a bull who didn't really bugle it was more of a growl sound its was pretty cool ive heard elk growl but not consitantly like this bull. Nice pics

That whole end of the state has some really nice elk. All of the ones that my nephew is after have move out of their summer patterns and have started splitting up the cows. He's haveing a hard time finding the nicer bulls that were everywhere just a couple of weeks ago. Love the pictures.
