I have to tell you all what Happened while on ther hill today.
After a long scary slippery sneak to get up close enough to get some good shots of these Goats I finally get to where I wanted to be and just start shooting as quick as I can, before they all figure out I am near and bolt. All of the sudden one goat jumps in the air and they all take off but one still just laying there, I move a little closer and the Goat still has not moved. I figure the goat is dead so I get my phone out to call one of the F&G officers I know and the first one I try is Scott White, well he doesnt answer so I leave a message and get ready to try another one, I am no more than 7 or 8 yards from this Goat and I start to dial another one and the Goat lifts his head(scared the S#@! out of me cuz i think it is dead for sure) looks at me just like a deer in the Headlights.(kinda like waking your kid up in the morning after a long night) This Goat had to have been Deaf or in a major deep sleep!

Here is another pic of the Goats that left their lil Buddy behind.

Sorry Brett I forgot about your ?

I was only about a mile or two up the Little Cottonwood Canyon, and I hiked for about a Hour is all. It is not very far up the Hill, just all cliffs with moss on them so it is pretty slow going.

I thought my pictures from some CO goats were good but these are much better - I am going to have to get out there and get some fresh pics. I have to admit, I cheated though - drove to the top of Mt. Evans in CO to get mine. I did get some natural pics from near Aspen but even with the 12x zoom I could not get this close, great pics!
