The picture is of a giant cypress tree. It was taken in Guadalupe State Park, near San Antonio, TX. The river there is an eerie place, especially once the sun goes down and no on else is around. Most of my pictures are taken with my Sony DSLR's. This one was shot with a Sony Alpha 580.
