A few survivors

I posted these pictures under the coyote hunting section since I saw them while hunting yotes. Incase some of you dont look at that section I thought I would post them here also. The quality is bad because I took video of them with the camera zoomed really far. Do not know how to post video or I would post it. enjoy!

I like that big whitetail. Out of all those pictured, he would be the one that I would go after.--------SS

I drive through Wall on the way to my hunting spot. I'm hoping to return for some whitetail hunting this fall. We saw a lot of them with blue tongues last fall so I hope the herd is ok.

Where I deer hunt.. (southern perkins county) the EHD took a serious toll on the whitetails. We saw very few of them. Didnt seem too hurt the muley population though. This place I coyote hunt on seems like it didnt have any problems with the disease. It is located near the little town of Elm Springs.

That’s too bad, We found a couple real nice bucks 150s -160s dead and many more that just didn’t look right, Moving slow with lowered heads. You ever do any hunting in the Black Hills. I was thinking of applying for elk but I hear it’s a long wait?

Yes I do lots of hunting in the Black Hills. I grew up right in the middle of it, out in the middle of knowhere. And Elk does take a very long time to draw I am still waiting for my first tag. Also you have to be a SD resident.
