It's hard to believe anything that gets emailed to you these days. That said I received an email saying that this was the buck killed in new mexico with the gov tag. Regardless its worth seeing.
The internet here is way too slow for my patience to be able to click on the images to make them bigger, but i'll tell ya what, that guy is sittin so far back its hard to be able to even get a decent honest look at that buck, haha. Regardless of the photo tricks he's still definately a stud! How bout that right side? That's some awesome stuff!
I'm not sure why the pic isn't there anymore. I hosted it through postimage.org. I didn't remove it. I'll have to go check some of my other posts to see if the pics are gone from those.
Here's the info on this buck from the Boone and Crockett site:

very true, the jicarilla apache indian reservation is well know for MONSTER bucks. i guided in RIO ARRIBA county for 9+/- yrs. but dont kid yourself, that whole area has some whoppers! the mundy buck, i believe the world record, was not off the jicarilla. in fact it was off a ranch that 1 of are ranches boarderd. i used to drive through the jicarilla alot. i think it is one of the most under rated indian reservations for elk, if your considering the very resonable cost of hunting. we were charging 6500.00 at the time for the first season peak rut elk hunt, pretty much what all the outfitters charge for that hunt. at the same time you could buy a jicarilla elk hunt for 6000.00. and you would have a FAR better elk hunt IMO.
very cool country that i miss alot! someday i will get back there to hunt it with my own weapon in hand!
I think this is true. Didn't some one have live photos of him a few day or weeks before the kill? Maybe I'm thinking of a different buck?
