A week in the life of a buck rub (pic heavy)

This treated 4x4 post has been getting a workout the last couple weeks. I had a trailcam on it for a week to see what the culprits looked like. There were quite a few more, so I hi-graded a few to post.

Not sure about the "king thing" kb, but I have fun playing with the critters. It's some sort of pressure treated post with an petroleum product injected into it. Whatever it is, the bucks love it! I'll post some more pics of "post rubs" when I have time later, gotta go slay the family Christmas tree this morning. They don't call tree killer for nothin! :thumb

I might get a chance to check the cam on this post today and hopefully have a few new pics of bucks! [-o<

Hey, I'm new to this forum and Mule deer. Just wondering if the pics are of mule deer or blacktails?

NBM...these are Northern Cascade Blacktails. The Cascade Mountains divide the state between the wet Blacktail areas and the drier Mule Deer country.

Thanks for the info Tree Killer. I'm from northern VT. and all we have up here is whitetails. Great pics by the way. Looking foward to seeing more. Heading to SD next fall to try and hunt Mulies.
