Amazing

So i went to the ISE show on sunday last weekend (only day i could make it thanks to a storm that pretty much shut down the canyon). I was super excited to be there and even more excited to see Cameron Hanes who is my #1 idol! After enjoying my time and seeing some booths i headed to an elk calling seminar. It was good and i did learn a few things, afterwards i went up to ask some questions and after chatting for a while i was given 2 dvd's. I was excited that i had just got free dvd's but it was nothing compared to what was coming.
I then went back to booth hoping and got a free calendar, a hat, 2 trophy hunter magazines, some great advice and bought 2 trophy hunter dvd's. I then returned to RMEF stage to listen to Cameron Hanes talk. I was front row of course and extremely excited. I recieved a hat and Tshirt from him and got to shake his hand, but all i could say was your my idol. Getting to meet him for me was about the same as your 16 year old daughter/sister/cousin meeting the characters from the twilight movie.
After Cameron was another one i was excited to see and that was guy eastman. Yet again i had fun learned all i could and was excited to be so close to one of my idols. After he spoke i gathered my self a little better than i did for Cam and began to ask him questions. After quizing him for a few miniutes he asked me to hold on one second and returned with his props from his lecture. "These all would help you with your questions and much more" he told me. At first i was confused. Then he held all of them out to me and said good luck. I was handed 4 books 4 magazines, 2 dvd's, and inside the dvd cases were some papers for a few months of free magazines (all together i was handed $150+ worth of merchandise). If I thought i had acted "slow" around Cameron it was nothing compared to now! I was twitterpated, I couldnt finish my sentences and as i tried to walk off to find a bag to hold everything my leg about gave out on me.
After all this i had to go to the RMEF booths and enter on the raffles, what can i say i felt on top of the world and unstoppable. I did not win anything there but I couldnt even pretend to be dissappointed!

THANK YOU SO MUCH: ISE, CAMERON HANES, GUY EASTMAN, THE GUYS AT HOYT WHO HOOK THIS PSE BOW HUNTER UP WITH FREE STUFF (they are winning me over perk after perk, to bad im still too broke), TROPHY HUNTER, RMEF, MDF, AND EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!!!

Wow, sounds like you had a great day! Living here in the Midwest we never get shows like that. I'm jealous, I would have been like a kid in a candy store too!!

Twilight movie? I'm lost...

lol

I cleaned up better at the Home and Garden show than I did at the Sportsman's Expo over the last two weekends. Guess I'm doing something wrong?

Sounds like a good time I would like to talk to those fellows myself.

A guy that I work with got a call Monday night telling him that he was the winner of one of the Can Am fourwheelers. He spent all day yesterday wandering around in a daze.

Lucky bugger anyway.

I was at the show as well and really enjoyed myself. I saw Guy, but he was busy. Picked up a nice painting of a brown trout taking a lure by the artist who does alot of the duck and upland game bird stamps. Now I just got to find a place to put it in my office.----shooter

Congrats Amp

I went on thursday and got a free destination Mule deer DVD and a Due North DVD from Ike eastman. I got a Free white tail DVD and elk call at the Chad Sheaer "making your next elk hunt your best elk hunt" seminar. I too bought some trophy hunter DVD's how could you not at the low show prices. I came home with a nice cold weather sleeping bag and a signed copy of Mike Eastmans "elk Hunting the west" I wish I could have been there on friday or saturday for some of the other seminars but I was out shed hunting. It's all good.

ya i went to chads calling seminar but i couldnt spell his last name so i just said "an elk calling seminar" to save myself. I tried to go shed hunting on saturday in a new area turns out i hit fences within a mile each direction from my truck, ](*,) didnt find any shed but did find a dead fawn. It had tried to jump the fence and got its leg caught, no animals had tore into it. It sadly probably died slowly. :>/
