Jeff is a good friend of mine. I love the NRA but their "junk mail" does them more harm than good. I wish they would quit wasting all of our money on it and use our money to defend the 2nd Amendment.

I'd love to join the NRA, but I get enough junk mail as it is. If they'd send me a magazine and maybe on or two ads a month then that would be fine, but I'm not fond of the idea of paying good $$ to be put on a mailer list.

When you give them money they spend the next 10 years begging for more, they have compromised on gun control issues, they will never get my support again. :>/

I'm all for supporting gun rights but the NRA contacted me on the phone about a month ago asking me to purchase a 3-5 yr package and I told them I don't purchase anything over the phone. I told them if they want my support to send me the information in the mail and then I would review it and make a decision. Instead they decided to send me everything as if I had agreed to it and just included a bill. I don't like those kind of tactics. Now I'm afraid I'm on their junk mail list.

The few times I tried to become a member, they couldn't even get my request for which magazine I wanted to receive, correctly. They kept sending the gun magazine although I requested the American Hunter. Now, they've come out in support of crossbows during archery seasons. Zero interest in being a member now!
