Couple of interesting stats on this buck...

1. He has an impressive 28" inside spread, but that doesn't count in the score because his actual main beam is shorter than the inside spread which is rare. (24" main beams)

2. He has 6 scoreable points on the right side

3. 11 scoreable points on the right side.

4. Has 2 other points that or very close to being scoreable.

5. Outside spread is about right at the 30" mark.

That got me a little - I guessed his outside to be 32-33 possibly even 34...... Back to the gogle search for mule deer to practice my scoring again ](*,)

Thanks guys! Cool site Brett! Obviously I was pretty lucky on that guess--I'm good, but not that good! This buck was really tricky to judge, I was just hoping to be within 5 inches or so...... Did anyone see the sheds that came in late Sunday afternoon? Absolute freak monster, the Mossback boys figured that it will gross close to 300"! I'm sure the pics will make the rounds soon enough.
