I shot this 7X7 on public land near Buena Vista, CO in the third rifle season 2004. No score as of yet until I get it back from the taxidermist. Inside spread was measured at a little over 26".

That body is huge! I have been hunting in Buena Vista for as long as I can remember. Where did you get it? Have you seen other monsters in that area?

Yes, I got a bit of meat of him. I shot him near Ruby Mountain on the north side. I've seen some other nice bucks in the area but none quite this big. I am not a trophy hunter but would never pass up on a buck like this! I shot a nice 4 point last year with a bigger body but not what most would consider a trophy rack.

That is an awesome buck!!! Not only a beautisweetl rack but he is huge! How much did he weigh? Congratulations on a once in a lifetime trophy.
