Annual Turkey Visit.

Well the turkeys finaly made it down behind the house again this year for their annual visit. Ever so slowly they keep showing up more and more as the years go by.
Hope to have a perminate flock one day. [-o<

They are kind of hard to see sorry. I cant get the imaging program on my computer to work to blow them up some.

There were eight turkeys in this flock. Half were jakes and the other half were hens.

Our entire state is under a draw system for turkeys. The only way around the draw is if you can set yourself up to get land owner tags every year but they don't stay here all year round yet and we don't have enough land to qualify any way.
With the aggresive transplanting system they have going in our state they hope to get the turkey population up to where they can just sell tags over the counterone day. xcrossx
It's just nice to see them running around and to hear them gobble.
