It was very cold . When Cody returned to my truck my Kayak had a 1/4 of ice covering it. Cody is a hunting fool :thumb and nothing would stop him. When we go fly fishing and fishing is slow, he tries even harder and never gives up. We have gone fly fishing in some bad weather and he never complains. Boy I love this kid !! :thumb :thumb

He out hunts and fishes me ALL the time . :thumb He told me yesterday that he would like to go to USU after he returns from serving a mission dor our church. He wants to be a wild Life biologist . :thumb He also has a cool Job at RoundRocks Fly Shop in Logan and the owners think he is awesome . :thumb You should see him cast a fly rod 95-100 feet . My Oldest son Jason who is serving a mission in S. Calif and also is a Fly fishing fool. Jason has qualified for the Best of the West fly Casting competition the last 3 years in a row but never entered the finals because of them being on Sunday. SORRY if I am bragging TOO much I just love my kid more than enything !!!! :thumb

Jason qualifying at The Best of the west Fly Casting Competition in Sacramento. He Casted over the hand rail and in to the booth at the end of the pound . Dad was a little excited and for got what he was doing with the Camera ! So you will See the floor until I got my composer back !!! :dumb

How come the first video was cut short just when he hooked a fish. :)

Is there audio with them? Or is it just me.

My Nikon Camera does not have audio. :>/
And the one video was cut short because I ran out of memory . I can record a bunch of short videos but I only get 40 sec of video each time. I think the newer cameras allow you much more time and are clearer. Jason is having a great time on his Mission. We get to talk to him Monday !!! :thumb :thumb :thumb

If you ever take up fly fishing don't let any covine you that a 400. + fly rod is going to make you cast better or catch more fish. A 90.-100. fly Rod and a few lessons will be money well spent and get way more fish. I have seen so many guys with $400.+ Rods , $300. reels and $250. waders that can't cast 20 feet. We went for years without waders and fished from the bank and caught tons of fish.
