Howdy All,
I'm another new member, although I've browsed the site quite a bit, and also from Idaho, just the other side of the state in the southeast. Hopefully I can learn a little bit from the rest of you and maybe shoot a big one this year. By the way, does anyone know of anywhere in southeast Idaho where a guy could hunt and get more than a few miles away from the road? It almost seems like there's no backcountry around here anymore.

welcome, i think you will find this site very informative. great folks running around here, and most will voice there opinion in a repectfull and knowledgable manner. i was informed of some rather upsetting news this morning. one of my buddies which i grew up with will not be coming back to his home state of wyoming to hunt deer this year. although he is a nonresident he was a resident of wyoming for his first 22-23 years of his hunting life, and apparently he filled something out wrong on his applications so they withdrew him from the draw. all i can say is the curse of the wyoming draw has struck again. oooohh well maybe next year, or the year after or the year after that.
