Another scouting trip

Went out yesterday and saw over 30 bucks, many of them 3 point or better. After glassing the the hills to the east before the sun came up. Then to the west after the sun did come up, we had seen over 20 bucks. At about 8:30 we decided to go up to a high saddle about a mile away and look at the north and east facing slopes over there for more feeding deer in the shade. We arrived at the saddle about 9:45 and it was a steep motha to get up there. Well anyway there were 9 bucks feeding in the high shaded brush and one was a huge 2 point with a 3" cheater and also a nice 3x4. Sometimes it pays to go the exta mile.
