Another worthless POS outfitter from MT gets dealt with!

This guy is a perfect example of the guides we deal with here that ruin it for everyone else.

Pretty soft on him if you ask me, he had been doing it for 14 years and only fined $15,000. He killed a 8X bull elk (what a Trophy) plus another elk, 13 deer and entered a Caribou into B&C, and 26 other animals not named, only has to spend 30 day in the local jail. Oh they suspended his hunting for Life in 30 states (oh that does not matter he did pay attention to the laws to begin with). Just looks like he will have to hunt in the states without the compact with Montana.

Need to get some teeth into the laws up there

I am curious as to why the feds weren't involved in the prosecution of these dirt bags. From the report it sounds as if he sent illegally killed animals he did taxidermy work on across state lines which is a violation of the Lacey Act. Fed regulations carry stiffer fines and longer jail times.

People like this give 'real' hunters a bad image and should be dealt with more severely than what these jerks got. :>/
