Any good fishing near Schofield?

hey everyone, I am going hunting by Schofield and was wondering if anyone knew if there were some good fishing spots up there. Thanks for any advice given!

Fishing at Scofield should get nothing but better now. Try anywhere by the dam...

Nice to go hunting and fishing on the same trip. Good luck on both.

My wife and her dad went Trolling in Scofield last week and did awesome. They caught 10 Rainbows in 3 hours. I hear fishing from the shore is doing well too.

Scofield has great fishing. There are also several lakes and streams with excellent fishing within a short driving range. Get a proclamation for regulations. Scofield has a slot size and some of the rivers and lakes are artificial lures and flies only.

Where will you be exactly? Like someone mentioned; there are several places to go depending on which direction you will be in.

Like Huge29 said depending on where you camp there are all sorts of places to fish in that area that are fairly close to scofield as well. Off the top of my head Electric Lake, Boulger REservoir, Fair View Lake, Huntington Reservoir, and Cleavland Reservoir are all close. What part of Skyline Drive will you be camping?

Bingo!! There is some river fishing to the east too and on the near west side of the lake too, but that would put you too close to my hunting spot.

Huntinton Res has some good tiger trout fishing. I you hit Boulger or CC Pond that time of year the fishing is fast, but the fish are going to be smaller.

:thumb Just givin ya some guff man hahahaha. Fishing is great though, I went up toward the end of June with some buddies. This pic is of my friend and a 3½LB Rainbow he reeled in (Electric Lake). We had some good luck over on Boulger Res too but this was the big catch of the day.
