Any one use Wac'em broadheads?

Just wondering if any of you on this site use the wac'em heads.

I picked some up this last season, unfortunatly i did not connect on any animals to see how they do.

I shoot Wac'em exclusively (pro staff shooter). Probably the best flying head I've ever shot, with incredible penetrating qualities as well. I've had complete pass-thrus on elk, deer and hogs. A quality head for sure.

I shoot them as well, Not as good as Roy though. A great flying head and great penetration, they worked flawlessly on a couple muleys and and an elk for me.

i hate to be the negative one here but---------------- is shot my elk eith the wack em's last year they fly awsome but i had every blade in the broedhean break off at the body-- if anything my shot was a little back so no major bones to break---I dont know what caused it------- i'm going to shoot them again cause they flew real well and i hope it was a freik incedent... but i wasn't very happy when i found my arrow to say the least.

Make sure when you screw the head into the shaft, that they are TIGHT. If not, the collar allows the blades slight movement, resulting in blade loss.

Heads or Tails
The Wac'em is a good head, but with alot of other things, sometimes they just don't work with everybody I have had alot of shooters that have had great luck with them to 50 yards and then have trouble with flight, at that range that can happen with any broadhead though.
G-5 has one that is basically the same as the Wac'em, the Striker; and it performs very well also.
The Montec by G-5 may be a bi more touchy to tune, but when you hae it tuned it has one of the strongest constructions on the market. The Wac'em has a great ferrule construction-but any time you have a replacable or expandable broadhead you will have the potential and occasionally break the blades upon penatration and bone impact.
Some say that Wac'ems and others fly as good as field tip, i have yet to see a head that is the exact as thir field tips.

Good Luck!!

Wac 'Em heads are the closest thing you are gonna find to true flight between broadheads and field points bar none. They are the only heads I will EVER use again. I tried the Stryker by G5 and I didn't care for them. The blades weren't as strong as Wac Em's and they didn't seat very good.

Me and Thunderheads didn't get along either but I really couldn't tell you why. They just never did fly well with my setup.

Take a look at the Snuffer SS.

The regular old Snuffer is what I prefer and shoot, but they take alot of Tuning and sharpening. All year I practice with the Same BH's I hunt with because they will take a edge like no other, and are not to soft to notch out like the Montecs did.
Montecs are to soft.

Wac'ems,Muzzy,Tight point,Steel force,Rocky Mtn All are Great Heads.

But none are a ONE peice BH, I guess it all boils down to TEST,TEST and TEST the BH PERSONALLY.We practice all year long to get that possibly Critter of a Lifetime, so dont rely on a BH that SOMEONE says is good. That one shot will be worth the $100.00 you spent and the time you spent knowing you have the Best BH avalaible.

I personally dont think there is a better BH (sharpened and tuned) than a regular old school SNUFFER.

Speaking from MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND OPINION.

I decided to purchase a set of these broadheads after reading these relpies. The Wac'ems are really great broadheads as far as them flying similarly to field points. I have not been able to shoot any critters with them, but I'm looking forward to next season with a bit more confidence in the accuracy and consistency of my equipment.
