Just wondering if any of you on this site use the wac'em heads.
I picked some up this last season, unfortunatly i did not connect on any animals to see how they do.

G-5 has one that is basically the same as the Wac'em, the Striker; and it performs very well also.
The Montec by G-5 may be a bi more touchy to tune, but when you hae it tuned it has one of the strongest constructions on the market. The Wac'em has a great ferrule construction-but any time you have a replacable or expandable broadhead you will have the potential and occasionally break the blades upon penatration and bone impact.
Some say that Wac'ems and others fly as good as field tip, i have yet to see a head that is the exact as thir field tips.
Good Luck!!
The regular old Snuffer is what I prefer and shoot, but they take alot of Tuning and sharpening. All year I practice with the Same BH's I hunt with because they will take a edge like no other, and are not to soft to notch out like the Montecs did.
Montecs are to soft.
Wac'ems,Muzzy,Tight point,Steel force,Rocky Mtn All are Great Heads.
But none are a ONE peice BH, I guess it all boils down to TEST,TEST and TEST the BH PERSONALLY.We practice all year long to get that possibly Critter of a Lifetime, so dont rely on a BH that SOMEONE says is good. That one shot will be worth the $100.00 you spent and the time you spent knowing you have the Best BH avalaible.
I personally dont think there is a better BH (sharpened and tuned) than a regular old school SNUFFER.
Speaking from MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND OPINION.
