No slow pitch for me only fast pitch.Slow pitch is just a little to Slow for me.I was drafted by the Chicago cubs after my freshman year of collage so I guess im just use to the fast pace.I was a catcher and there is really nothing a catcher can do in slow pitch. lol

I played a ton of baseball growing up, but living in a small town once you get older, slowpitch is all there is. Id try fastpitch If I got a chance. I enjoy watching that NCAA chicks fastpitch...those girls are fine as hell 10sign:

I was also big into baseball throughout my youth and play a lot of softball even today. One of my favorite summer pasttimes. I am still a huge baseball fanatic though!

In fact, I just signed up my 5 year old for his first year of T-ball. He is absolutely stoked too...and so am I...LOL! My two oldest boys also play but they both prefer other sports which is fine by me. They can play whatever makes them happy. But my 5 year old LOVES baseball.

Hey Big R, did you have to go to Pikeville, KY for rookie league? If so, what did you think of that place?

I played in an attorney league (pronounced "beer league") here in Phoenix for several years, but broke my collar bone in three places diving for a ball a couple years ago. Once I realized that this "killing time between hunting seasons" could screw-up my hunting seasons, I hung up the glove!! :))

Big R, I just hired a new assistant from Chicago. She moved to Phoenix last month, but is a huge Cubs fan. She's pretty excited to start going to their Spring training games that start here this week.

As far as playing baseball between hunting seasons, Randy Johnson found a new way to combine the two sports a few years ago here in Phoenix, when he did some dove hunting with a baseball!

I was drafted out of high school....same club as you......but I went to Pikeville (rookie league).....I don't wish Kentucky on anyone in the summer time! :) Was an awesome time in my life though.

I never physically hunted in Division.......but I did scout and go through there to see the circus.....there were too many folks in that area for my liking. I ended up hunting further south towards Onion Valley. Were you up there last year?
