Any tips on fishing Joe's Valley Reservoir??

Now I know we just had the discussion about talking fishing on this board and what not, but I couldn't help myself. Do any of you guys have any sorts of tips for fishing this lake? I don't care what I catch, what I fish with, how long I fish, or how big the fish are. Just gonna be goin to college down there come August and wanted to start trying out different things on the lake to see if it'll be worth running out there whenever I get a chance or if i'm better off traveling a little further to find better lakes. Sorta my scouting trip for the fishing seaon :thumb .

Anyone have any pointers to help me start out? (keeping in mind i'm not the best fisherman on top of the water :) )

oh yeah, i'll be going there this coming weekend.

I've heard the 2 main fish there are splake (a hybrid between I think brown trout and lake trout or something?) and Tiger Trout.

sneekeeboy - thats what i've heard :333 .. can't wait to get out after them, wanted to catch one for a while.

killerbee - I'm not sure if you're familiar with the area at all or not, but I'll be headed to Snow College in Ephraim. It's just a 2-Yr. school, not a real big place. But I think i'll enjoy it quite a bit.
