Any Utah hunters getting excited about the hunt

I got a my buck tag and any bull tag to fill with thee ol trusty Smokepole.

Muzzleloader is ON and ready
Possible bag is full
TAGS in Hand

$$$$ price of fuel might kill me but what the heck..... cant put a price on fun!!

:thumb =D> not too much time now. wint to see where we will be going looks good. i hope i can go one more time be4 the hunt. come on september. I hope my dad is ok to go with me by then he just had a hart a tack and they dont know why yet. it was the day after we wint to look for deer Maybe he got too excited. any way he is doing ok now

Yep !!!!!

I have a DEER AND ELK TAG .
I can only get one week off and not sure if i should take a week off for deer or Spike Elk .
I have never taken a Elk or a "nice " mule deer Buck . I am leaning towards taking off on the deer season. I have seen 4 nice bucks this year . Also i will be hunting alone and it sure will be easier to haul out a deer than a elk .

I started seeing them just after I shot my buck with my bow last year, and it hasn't stoped. lol

Every day that goes by of the bow hunt that I don't get one I am getting more excited about having more range and getting a gun in my hands to be able to reach the bucks I haven't with my bow.

So did any of you smokepolers have any luck on the opener yesterday??? My Dad went with a buddy and ran into alot of deer no shooters though. Just wondering what everyones luck had been like.
