Anybody still use film?

At the last branding I went to I took along my 645 camera to fool with after I got a bunch of digital photo'ss. Well I finally broke it out and it was a blast looking thru that huge view finder again. Got home and thought about it a bit and figured I could shoot B/W or slide film and get it processed then print off my computer if I had a scanner that would scan med format film. Well I got one and it does a really nice job with slides and the B/W looks nice but comes out sepia tone. Don't know why as the color came out great.

I did have a problem figuring out how to scan a negative and turn it to a positive. Now that I figured it out, I feel really dumb! Here's three film scans that printed out great.

This was from 120 slide film:

This one from 120 B/W neg film. This is the stuff that comes out sepia:

This is from 120 color neg. The one I had a hard time scanning as a positive.

Film ???

Is that the clear stuff that's rolled up in a little metal thingy ??? :-k :-k

I have not used any for a while .
Some of the best landscape photographers still use 4x5 film cameras. It would take a 35 MP digiatl camera to even come close to a 4x5 film in sharpness . Hasselblad has a medium format 35 megapixel for $35,000. (???)

I love film I have a Nikon 35 ml and have not mastered the digital at all I always seem to get them blurry because I’m a little shaky and the pictures seem to slow for action pictures
I need Utah Rob to show me how he does it because I have not found the balance yet. As for my 35m I could not be happier with it I waste a few pictures on every roll but they just seem faster framed. So I get a much cleared picture.
