anyone get the new "eastmans?

just heard my cousins story of last years sheep hunt was in the new eastmans-" river boat gambler" ( they picked the name"

my subscripton ran out and i cant find a place in town that sells them. i'll have to go to the bigger town 20 miles away ](*,)
what do you think?

 Good deal. I hope to draw a sheep tag sometime in my lifetime. Good luck with your hunts this year. I'm assuming your bow hunting again this year? I have a 7 day back country trip planned for mid Sept, it should be fun.

yes, just general archery, plus going with a buddy who drew a mt. goat tag, and a buddy who drew a late season mussy buck tag.

it was a great opener, and also a very crummy one:
opening morning, at 6:30 a.m., i had a 280" 5x6 and a super huge trophy 1x2( lol ) bull at 10 yrds for a good honest 3 minuts! seemed like hrs!

they came into a cow call, i was set up behing a juniper tree expecting them to follow one of 2 trails, either one of the trails would have been broadside shot at under 10 yrds.
INSTEAD---- the bulls just walked absolutly strait to me , all the way from 200 yrds( to the cow call) and never turned broadside. i dont want them that close, i quite calling at 150 yrds ](*,)
cool to see, but i was screwed and new it wasn't going to work out. finally the little (trophy) 1x2 blew my scent and it all hit the fan :>/
maybe next time :)
