Anyone now anything about splake fishing

Every winter i go ice fishing almost every weekend and i always see 10+ pound splake through my hole but i have used everything imaginable to catch these things and nothing ever seems to get them any thoughts

or try meal worms on the end. I have seen that work too.

i have tried tube jigs but not chub meat anchovies it works on the little ones but the big ones wont have no part i will have to try the chub meat and meal worms thanks for the info guys
