Are you a NRA member?

Are you a NRA member?

If not why?

Every gun owner who believes that owning a firearm is a RIGHT should be be a NRA member.

You don’t have to agree with everything the NRA does, but you do need to be a member to be sure Washington knows we’re very serious about preserving our freedom of the right to own firearms.

Not a member, but have been seriously considering it lately. Just waiting for the pocket book to say it's okay.

I’m a member: but getting real tired of them sending me fliers every week asking to donate for this or that, on top of that, I’m pissed how they are handling the Elk tags they receive from the state of NM for the Whittington Center. Yes they are allotted a bunch of Elk tags (37 bulls and 64 cows) to do whatever they want with them. If you want to hunt there for anything except cow elk, you must hire their guide.
Here is their link: http://www.nrawc.org/default.asp

They have done a lot of good things, I do believe they are lossing the support of the working class

I do agree they do send quite of bit mail, But they aslo defend our RIGHT to keep and own fire arms.

I just throw out whatever I do not want from them, simple as that.

With Obama as President the RIGHT to own firearms will be under attack for the next 4 years and when he finally leaves office there will be plenty of anti gun laws on the books.

The NRA at least does stand for one thing the RIGHT to own and carry firearms.

I was a member a few years back. The major reason I'm not any more is I really don't need anyone telling me who to vote for. The NRA ONLY looks at a candidate as to whether they are with or against them.

Don't get me wrong, I do not want someone in a position of power who will vote to take my firearms away from me. I just find it incredulous that the NRA felt they needed to tell me who I SHOULD vote for.
