Area 94 near Lander Wy

Hi all,
I'm new to hunting but have been an avid outdoorsmen my whole life. I'm extremely excited about getting out this year and got a couple of pronghorn tags and a deer tag. My question is about the deer tag in zone 94 near atlantic city, south of Lander. I finally got some time to go scout last weekend, but didn't cover a large portion of the area. I was wondering what areas in this zone are known to have good hunting, and if there are some areas I should overlook, or areas I can't afford to miss. In driving around, I felt it was pretty tough to get to large chunks of public land without crossing private. The first evening I scouted up Skull gulch off CR19 (Twin Crk rd.) I saw two whitetail right out of the car near the creek, but nothing after that. The second night I took CR 523 (Which branches of CR19 at the very North end) and then took a two track SW from the main road, and hiked around in some good country near red bluff creek, and the backside or east side of Sheep Mtn. I saw no deer that evening, but what I thought was good habitat (lots of bitterbrush), tons of pellets (mostly old), and some game trails and tracks. Anyways, I know I probably need to dedicate more time to scoping out the area, but I don't have much. So any help, locations, tips, or access information would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, and I'll report back after the hunt.
