What are anyones thoughts at what should be a guide lines for a shooter buck on this hunt. I past a 170 in WY last year and went home empty. I am again willing to eat the tag to hold for a better buck. So anybody have any thoughts on what I should look for as shooter buck?

I've bowhunted the Bab' for over 25 years, so I'm fairly familiar with it. It's a beautiful place that can produce huge bucks, but it's not what it used to be. If you haven't been up there doing a bunch of scouting, I think when you see a 170" buck you might want to drop the hammer. The early hunt is NOTHING like the late hunt.........of course, if early snows come again like last year the game changes and you can hold out for bigger. JMO.
