I have some client's that live in Suncrest (Draper side) and they had this buck living in there back yard. Last year there were 3 big bucks and someone had poached two of them cut the heads off and left the body. With all the new housing on top(Suncrest) and around Cables these deer are pushed off there winter range.

SAD TO SEE THIS!! :>/

I grew up 4 wheeling with my buddies on top of where Sun Crest now is. There were massive bucks up there back then. We couldn't hunt them though because it was private property. It's too bad to see that the housing development has pushed them into harms way.

This is absolutely sickening!! ](*,)

How the developers and planners can allow construction on a mountain like that is absurd!! :nono:

It's one thing they are killing valuable and fragile habitat for starving wintering deer & elk, their building houses on top of the biggest sand pit in the state!!

All those houses up there will be totally destroyed with the slightest earthquake, they're concrete work is already falling apart up there!! #-o

Wow that sucks no matter where it was hit.

Still I agree about the housing. I used to ride my atv around in suncrest. I can still remeber the day I saw the sign go up with no tresspassing. I used to enjoy watching the wildlife up there. Many of the deer have died out up there and more have relocated. it does not hold the quantity of deer it used to. Soon there will be nothing left for them. Shame on the city planners. :nono: Not to mention as stated earlier that they are building on sand.

Funny story about a hunting trip I had on the extended hunt 2 years ago. My dad and I were watching some deer in the corner canyon area in a church parking lot in a newer development. We were in full camo so it was pretty obvious we were hunting and we have this lady come up to us and start saying how she can't believe we would kill an animal like a helpless deer .... yada yada! SO i ask her where she lives and she proceeds to tell me in the area. Then I told her that I could kill a deer a yaer for the rest of my life and never match the total amount she was killing by building on their winter range! Needless to say it didn't go over really well! So we left and haven't been back to that area since! It kills me how people CHOOSE not to see what they are doing and critisize me! Sorry for the long post er I mean vent!

That's funny. She was probably also driving some big SUV that had leather seats, and was on her way to some barbeque. It's funny how hypocritcal most anti-hunters are.

:>/ Bro-ther. Tell her to get educated on what she is talking about before she starts rattling. I cant stand it when people preach to me about hunting. I always let them have it. I dont like scrapbooking but do I give anyone crap about it? Tell her to :-$ !!!!
