I believe the muzzy elk hunt is the best option for Colorado. Nice bull meathunter. Being able to hunt before the rifle hunters and during the rut makes the muzzy season a sweet deal. I wish Utah had the same season dates.

I have posted these on here before, but here they are again. I'd rather not post the better pics because they are going to be in a magazine next month. These are my best bucks. They are both Utah general season muzzleloader bucks.

The buck in the lower picture will be in Muley Crazy. I believe that it will be in the next issue (July/Aug). I didn't think that it was big enough to be in there, but Ryan said that I had really good field pictures. He went on to say that quality pictures are almost more important than the size of the buck when it comes to making a magazine. I am excited to see how it comes out.

Here is my biggest Muzzy Buck.. Hopefully we can top him this year. Finally seeing a few big ones on the archery hunt though. The scouting trips weren't too good but the pressure is moving the bucks into the areas we hunt.

In reference to the "oakbrush" post. He is now out in the Sept/Oct issue of Muley Crazy magazine. Two great bucks taken during his stint of three years in the Dedicated Hunter program of Utah. Look for bigger things from this man. Of course, I'm not partial to him, I'm just his dad.

Not big , but the only animal of any kind that my son Cody has shot at.
So he's shooting 100 %=D> I hope he can get a deer and another Elk !! [-o< [-o< That would be my highlight of the year !!! =D>
