hike further, longer and place your cams where you know animals are, but where most people are not willing to go thru the work to go to!! thats about all you can do!!

My best advise would be to start scouting and find where the animals are this time a year.
Put your camera along a heavily used game trail, facing down the trail. a camera facing the trail will get alot of missed pictures.

A water hole is a great spot, it will be guaranteed that you will get something down to drink.

I put my cams along the fence line where the bucks come down the the grain fields. (Great spot)

It is wise to move your cams every week to a different location, the sneaky critters get smart and will avoid your camera's flash.
