Big brown trout

Well it's going to be hard to beat this one. What a great time this morning. My daughter fought with this beast for about 5 minutes then got too tired. Then handed the pole off to her older sister and she finished the job. Great job girls, way to make all the guys on the lake jealous.

beautiful brown!

I've been thinking lately (accualy had a little chat with pops on the way home from Corinne this afternoon) and i'm wantin' to get after a couple brown trout this year. The lakes I usually fish don't have any that I know of, or if they do then not very many of em.
So just curious, not asking the name of this lake, but anyone know of somewhere that's pretty decently stocked with brown trout (or a river that holds a fair population or whatever, anything like that) Where I could get out and catch a few w/out too big of a hassle. Not that i mind catchin bows or cutts, it'd just be cool to change it up a bit :)

anyways, GREAT fish! congrats to the girls.. Just like the lucky shirt says; "I taught my dad EVERYTHING he knows about fishin'"

Most the northern utah big lakes have them. Like.... Deer Creek, Jordanelle, Echo and Rockport to name a few. The Weber and Provo rivers have alot of browns.

rigetop - good info ang good news. I haven't really done any homework on it yet, but within the month i'm gonna get everything together and go hopefully catch some :thumb . I'll be sure to look into the lakes you named first. Thanks again
