Cover as much ground as you can early in the morning, looking w/ glasses in likely areas, from as much of an elevation advantage as you can get. The land may seem "Flat"... You may think you can see a whole field, or creek bottom. Try looking into an area from different sides/angles. Often times I will find big bucks in open country as you are hunting by getting on a hill, and seeing them up to 2 or 3 miles away, especially early in the morning... During the day, I would push as many likely bedding areas, as your legs can handle!!! Big word of Caution though, "Be Ready"... Hunting a buck like this, will be many hours of pure boredom and frustration, intermingled by seconds of sheer madness and excitement!!! This is also a good way, to not shoot the big boy, as a jumping/running deer will always look bigger from behind #-o
My bet, is that he's still somewhere close. W/I 5 to 10 square miles of where he was seen. Unless somebody else has already pushed him clear out of the country... :-({|=

Just because you don't see him in an area. Don't count on the fact of him not being there... I've hunted this type of country alot. A Big ol' buck can appear out of no where, 15 minutes after you've just figured you covered an area. I would think you'll find him w/ does this time of year, though.
