Big Bull "Chubby?"

Ok fellas' maybe im in the dark a little bit about this "chubby" fill me in! what unit is he in?

Well thats why i asked, I have the archery Dutton tag and a little birdie told me Mossback is in that unit??? True? False?

i didnt think chubby was there i thought it was boulder or fishlake. but maybe another big bull was spotted.

Well nothing against the fishlake unit but i hope he is there. I dont want to hunt around the mossback guys. Whats your thoughts?

i doubt youll ever come across them and if you do i dont think they are as bad as you hear i think its mostly spite people say that stuff. i know a couple guys that guide for him they dont seem like bad guys. if you do come across them you know there is a pig in the area so stay alert. here is a trail cam pic of a bull doyle has pretty cool bull not sure what unit might be az

Well hope he is in my unit! thats a nice bull! And yea your probably right, i have heard things like the rest of utah about mossback i could not imagine they are as bad as people make it out to be

ya thats a wicked bull! im thinkin arizona tho with the ponderosas in it. never know! ya i would notworry about mossback id rather have mossbacka round than some of the other avg joes that will be up hunting there the ones that screw ya the worse

Chubby is a bull that lives on Monroe and was arrowed by an archer last year but survived.
Broken arrow is still in him. ](*,)
They have his sheds and video of him this summer, he's gone WAY downhill and lost about 50" of scorable points.
Still a neat bull, but a sad loss.

So he is on the monroe unit? I thought somebody said he was on the pahvant. I seen mossback parked at one of the exits in Cedar city on Thursday selling t-shirts. I just about jumped out of the truck and started glassing the field next to there little settup. Figured thats were chubby might be!

that guy that parks in cedar has nothing to do with mossback guides he just sells mossback stuff...like dvds (not just mossback) and calls,jerky just a bunch of stuff pretty cool little shop sholuld check it out.
to bad on cchubby losing that much growth, still prob a good bull to bad for the archer thats gotta be frustrating.

I have a friend that's been filming chubby all summer and says he will only go about 375" this year and looks pretty unhealthy.
He also has a lot of footage from the year before whn he was in his prime. His whole back end is pretty much gone from what it was the prior year.

Spidey took all the limelight last year and it took away from Chubby, which is in MY opinion a MUCH more impressive bull.

 I was told it entered his gut area and is in his hip somewhere, but that's second hand info.

Thats cool that Chubby was able to take a hit like that and still be kicking up dust, however it does sound like someone needs to take him out of the population before he dies a slow and painful death. You say he'll "only" be 375" this year Skull, thats still a very respectable bull in most every hunters book. What was he pushing last year?

Chubby could not have been hit in the guts and survived this long. Most likely hit further back and lodged in the hip on the other side. It's a shame but if he made it this long and still grew 375" of horns most likely in my opinion he will survive to be shot again this year by some lucky hunter.

 I was told the arrow entered somewhere behind the guts, don't know for sure.
Chubby had big long double swords that easily pushed him into the mid 420's.
375" does sound like a great bull, and it is, but his 375" is because the reult of an injury more than likely.
Yes....i hope someone puts him out of his misery.
