Big coyote down

Todd Woodall and I went calling today, hunting was slow! We called this coyote from over a 1/2 mile away. He took his sweet time coming took him over 8 minutes to cover the last few hundred yards, slow but deliberate. We finally had enough video and I took him at about 50 yards. 1 shot drop with a RRA .223 and a Night Force scope. Todd is part of the Predator Pursuit team on the sportsman's channel.

That is a big coyote. Did you weigh him by chnace? Two years ago my brother shot one that weighed 42 lbs. It was a big dog. The pelt came out awesome. The tanner couldn't believe that it was a desert dog and not a high mountain dog based on the color and thickness of the pelt.

I'm glad you were successful on your coyote because he looks as though he had been feeding too well.
