I used a maggot imitation. In those rivers a lot of king salmon die from the spawn in October and their carcasses lay on the banks. When the water rises the maggots are washed downstream and the Browns Love them. I actually tie them with rubber bands!

Very cool!! I had some friends make a trip to upstate New York and I couldn't believe the fish they caught. I need to make that trip sometime soon.

Here's a halibut we caught earlier this summer.

I go 5' 11" and 215#. This fish is about as big as me.

Nice one!! I was there last summer, the biggest we caught was about 100 lbs. Lots of fun though and lots of fish.

ive seen some halibut.. well okay, some pictures of halibut - but that things a monster!! dont recall seein any that big, congrats!!! thanks for sharin the success.

Great brown to mtquivers! that thing is beastly lookin as well! I need to get after them sometime.
