Biggest buck I've ever seen! UPDATE!

Well it may have not been the very biggest but for sure in the top five I've ever seen. (???) I was driving home the other night and right at dark, I see a truck parked on the side of the road with two guys getting out. I then see a very heavy, tall three point about 30 feet away from them, just over a rise but then I see the giant buck about 50 feet behind the first buck. I hurry and do a u-turn and go back, all the while reaching for my camera behind the seat but I couldn't feel it. Then I remembered I left it home by the computer the night before. I got out and ran up on the rise to get a better look. Only to see the big buck standing about 100 yards out for five seconds, then it ran off. When I turned around to go back to the car, there must have been 6 or 7 cars stopped with cameras out. The buck had a 190" or better frame and around a 35" outside spread with matching 3" cheaters on each side. (six or seven points per side) I have looked all around the sites to see if any pics. have been posted of it but none yet. Maybe we can talk 9er into camping out on the spot and get us some good pics. to admire. :thumb The buck was almost in his back yard.

9er, same place I told you about earier this summer. I saw them between the ramp pulloff and the RR underpass. They were on the East side of the road but wanted to cross over to the west side. Maybe that's where the water is located.

These bucks are from the same area and the buck on the far left might be him but the buck I saw the other day seemed to be much wider. I think this picture was taken about a month ago.. 9er, will you hurry up with some pictures! Here's a link to the bucks I'm talking about. http://utahwildlife.net/forum/download/file.php?id=4101&mode=view

A picture of that buck I saw has finally appeared. It's the one posted by sawman. He may not be a 35"er like I first thought but is getting real close.

Wow he is a dandy, although he may not be quite up to 35 i would put him close anyways, it was worth the wait to keep checkin back on this post to check out this picture. sweet find too.

Brett, I think that picture you just posted is a year or two old. It could be the same buck but I'm not sure where that picture was taken. I know that the buck sawman posted is the same buck I saw. I saw it only about 1/2 mile from that building with the pipes and I reconized those huge back forks with the cheaters.

sorry ridge but that buck died two years ago.

Maybe a offspring of that big buck?

Here ya go ridgetop.

Pretty sure it's the same buck with the CO. The buck was 32" wide.

There are several bucks that hang out in the area that have the same genes/antler configuration.

yes, the picture that Brett and sawsman posted is the same buck that is dead in the back of the truck.
Sawsman is correct. The genetics of that buck is still runnin strong. No doubt in my mind you saw his brother!

OK, TIME OUT!

sawsman picture DOES contain a different buck! The picture that brett posted is of the dead buck. I found some differences:

The dead buck has a much better right main beam.
The live buck has a much better right G2.
The live buck has much better G1's.
The dead buck has a "tripod" on his left G2.
It appears that the live buck has better mass, but the velvet always throws me off!

That being said, sawsmans photo is a few years old, and might possibly be the same buck the year prior to it's death by automobile homicide.

sorry for any confusion............ Both bucks are so freaking huge! 10sign:
