Black Magic - 2009 the legend continues!!

Okay, I had a few encounters with good ole "Black Magic" in 2009 and he was alive well and as far as I know still is. Although I haven't seen him in some time.

I spent more time than ever looking for him, at least 7 different trips. I saw him on 3 different occasions and had 1 amazing really close (but quick) encounter. It was amazing, bout ran me over and I could hear him breathing before I saw him (no joke). He is old, think he has asthma also. lol

Anyway, I really wanted some video but was simply unable to film him. These are the still pics I came up with. He is one smart buck, TRUST ME.

how old do you think he is? I think his body size is getting smaller. I dont think he will make it another year!

I think this buck is 9-10 years old.

This is the 5th year in a row that I've watched him, I hope he makes it another year but I won't be to surprised if he doesn't. I don't think anyone will kill him, I think old age will get the best of him first. Hope I'm wrong though.

Brett, in your second pic, on the right, is that another black magic in the making?

And if he doesnt make it another year, and you find his remains, will the fish and game allow you to keep the skull......i dont know how Utah works, but in montana we could keep the skull if found.

Good catch, yes it's a MINI Black Magic. :)

It would take a Miracle to find his remains IMO. Possibly if someone did, then yes the DWR might let you keep it.
