so brett any info on ol blacky? is he still wanderin the hills or is he laid to rest ?

I tried to find him Saturday morning 5/16/09 with NO luck. So only time will tell if he is still kickin...I hope so, I'll be back out in a couple of weeks to try again.

This is the earliest I've ever gone looking for him, so I'm still hoping he is alive and well. He is old for sure though.

Yea Brett, I was wondering about that myself. I joined this site in 2003...and you've been keeping us up to date on him ever since. I imagine that he won't be around much longer, if he is indeed still around at all.

Let's hope so!

If it's not too much trouble, you should post some photos of him again for all the new guys and gals on the site...and for folks like me who never get tired of lookin' at him!

I agree with Hawk! I always love to see your pictures of him :thumb Have you ever look for his sheds? They would sure be an awesome set to have. Especially since you have kept your eye on him for so long.

 Sneekee, 'ol Black Magic is a cactus buck so he doesn't shed. It sure would be great if he did though...although I am afraid it might have allowed more folks to follow his whereabouts.

lol no kidding Hawk! I can't beleive I forgot that they don't shed.... I guess it was time for me to completely embarass myself in front of everyone here. I guess I am still fired up about seeing all the sheds everyone has been posting.
