if you dont mind me asking what area did he come from looks like a midas buck i lived i gardnerville most of my life now in Idaho it good to see a young and up coming hunter able to get such a dandy his shot out of the gate

Hi...I got this buck in Northern Washoe county in Northern Nevada..unit 11...near the Oregon border...he was with 5 other bucks and about 15 does..after shooting at him once and missing..I shot again and dropped him..another 28" -30" buck stood up behind him that had been laying in the brush and just stood and looked at us....I missed a 28" buck the week prior also..thanks for your comments..they are really appreciated..I go with my dad for his tag this weekend!
