Book?

Are there any good reads out there that discuss highcountry archery muleys? Seems like I've seen one mentioned before, but my search has failed to turn up anything.

Does Cameron Hanes book have quite a bit on deer or is it more general backcountry hunting?

it has a whole section 4 that is just mule deer. but the whole book is great! all the chapteres are based on back country hunting[ elk , deer, conditioning, equipment etc..] still well worth the read!

Roy (Bohntr) mentioned one a while back. I ordered it and read it but can't remember the name of it. Good read. I'll try to find it....it's in one of our bookshelves.

Mike Eastman also wrote "Hunting High Country Mule Deer" and they just came out with the 6th printing last summer, also a good read.

Cameron's "Back Country" and Mike Eastmans High Country I do have to second that, very informative. Good stuff. I actually just ordered David Longs book two days ago can't wait!

I just finished Cameron Hanes' book. What a great read. It sure makes me feel like I need to step up my game a bit. I'm looking forward to meeting him at the International Sportmans Expo next month. He and Guy Eastman will be at the Eastmans trophy trailer booth.

I echo everyones :thumb for Camerons book. The DVD that is comes with has several clips from Eastman's hunting TV shows. Fun to watch.

I've ordered David Long's book for my next read.

I'm about half way through David Long's "Public Land Mulies - The Bottom Line". Very good read so far.
