Boulder Region

Spent some time on Mt Dutton last year for the elk hunts and seen some nice bucks few and far between. Got two elk tags this year for the dutton again and was wonderin if the boulders is worth going for deer on.. Im a dedicated hunter so im plannin on spendin alot of time on the dutton this year and thought may as well put some days in huntin deer down there also. So i will be huntin all three seasons wonderin if the boulders is worth a try. Thanks

Haven't hunted it, but have good friends that do/have. I'd say YES it's worth it. Especially in your situation you described.

I have friends that have taken very respectable bucks off the duttons. Take your bow, muzzy, and rifle with you and plan your elk scouting trips around the deer hunting seasons. good luck.
