Come on guys, are you joking? Stickers? It's a Cactus Buck. He looks like that because he never sheds his horns or velvet. Somehow this buck has malformed or nonexistent testicles. As a result, his body does not produce testosterone. Without testosterone, he'll never shed his horns. This is a very impressive looking Cactus Buck. One of the best that I have ever seen.

Alright, take a look at an actual "hermaphrodite" buck, also known as a cactus buck. Disformed, yes, antlers like that....no. He looks like he's caked on the mud.

"Cactus Buck???"
Cactus buck YES, that's why he is so unique. I don't know the reason for the color, very unusual indeed. I filmed him last year and I filmed him again four days ago. He did not and will not shed his antlers, thus the reason I call him a cactus buck.
Is the term hermaphrodite more applicable to a STAG and not a cactus buck?
Maybe it's some type of fungus that grew the coloration?
I would love to harvest this deer to see and feel the horns and check out his organs to see what's up? I assume his horns are very hard but I guess they could have a soft feel to them.

Judging by the variation in antler size in your following picutres, I'm assuming you've found more than one buck with the deformity. Where are you finding them? Could be a serious genetic problem.

Cactus Buck???: A Hermaphrodite is an animal that has both male and female sexual organs. I really doubt that this buck has "both sets of tools". It is far more likely that he lost the use of his testicles late in life (after he grew a mature set of horns). Probably from a tick or an encounter with a barbed wire fence. However, this is the first seni-intelligent comment exchange that I have seen on this site.
