Bull hit on Hyw.

Here are some pictures that were emailed to me of a bull that was hit on the road. The email didn't say where it was but interesting all the same.

I would have to mount that no matter what anybody said. That would truely be an elk of a liftime. :)) :thumb

That's the coolest lookin elk i've ever seen - Almost looks like a 99% elk - 1% Caribou crossbreed :) . Awesome pics though, I agree with ya on this one - I'd have to mount a beaut like this one!

You guys think it hurts 'em to have 3 antlers? Or they just feel it's normal? Seems to me like it would hurt, but i'll bet to them, they don't know any different and it's not a bother at all. Also; You guys think they have all 3 every year of their life? And they are born that way, or could it be something that happens over time? I would think they'd be born like that but just thought i'd ask

Yes I think that you are right on both accounts. I don't think that it bothers them at all. I also think that they would have to be born that way. For the antler to grow it would need the same base that the other antlers have to even grow.
