BYU-80 SDSU-67

Like em or hate em........BYU is a darned good basketball team. I think if everyone steps up the possibilities are exciting for us BYU faithfuls. Jimmer apparantly can take the heat and give it right back on the court where it matters.--------SS

i dont even really care for BYU normally, but Fredette is quikly becoming one of the main guys i look forward to seeing how he did on any givin night. that guy is a stud!

that said- i really think SDSU was so far over rated it's not even something to base their season on. BYU , another small conference team, has showed that.

I still dont think they'll get past a sweet 16 appearence, but for that size of conference- thats nothing to scoff at, AND i'd more than likely be - quietly- pulling for them.

 I hoping for more than one spot as Duke, Pitt, Texas, SDSU all lost. They were all ranked ahead of BYU. BYU should see a top 5 spot.

I just got tickets to the new mexico "pay back" game wednesday night. It should be a good loud crowd. My 9-year-old is very excited to go. If we win out from here BYU should be a #1 seed in the Tourney! Go Cougs!

i think they are ranked #3 right now, and yes- should get a #1 seed.
i wonder if they hadn't of lost to NEW MEXICO ](*,) if theyed be 1 or 2?

i still wont have them in my final 4 come bracket time, i just dont believe the small conferences that go ,almost, undefeated should have the same rankings as the big conferences that are playing way better teams get ranked.
but thats whats nice about basketball, unlike football, they WILL get a chance to prove it on the court! if they are the best team in the nation, they will win the national championship.
