BYU vs Oklahoma

Did any one watch the game? I was only able to listen to it on the radio, but it sounded like it was a pretty good game. Glad they were able to "Hang with the big boys" and pull off a victory even if it was only one point. 14 - 13.

oh brother, if they dont lose a game this year{ by playing nobody else we've even heard of} were never going to hear the end of " we got hosed, we did beat OSU{without threir qb} the first game of the year........."

sorry- just had to stir the pot a little lol

Yep, hate to say it, but winning the game after OU lost last years Heisman winner kind of puts an " * " on the win.

A win is a win and if Oklahoma is the #3 team in the country or was in this case a heisman QB is a big part of the team but give me a break. They were ranked the 3rd best team in the country and BYU smacked them in the mouth, one point or 20 points BYU won and shut those sooners down. =D> =D>

I hope Bradford comes back and takes the sooners to a BCS bowl and Boisie state plays them again and beats them lol .

Now did anyone watch the Navy Ohio State game thats was a good game navy really screwed up and let the $uck eyes get a way with a win.

The Alabama Virginia tech game was pretty good too.

Gotta love college football and upset weekend lol

i like the beavers anyway, but i do gotta rute for the ducks, my bosses daughter is a senior captain on the cheerleading team.

i also have always liked boise state , so it didn't hurt my feelings too much. but man they could have played better than that.............

Professional career

Houston Texans
Zabransky was not selected in the 2007 NFL Draft. However, on April 30, 2007 he signed a free agent contract with the Houston Texans.[1] He was issued uniform number 15. He was released on August 31, 2007; however, on September 3, 2007 Zabransky was selected to be a member of the practice squad. However, unlike most coaches who prefer to have three quarterbacks on the active roster, Head Coach Gary Kubiak prefers having two quarterbacks and cut Zabranksy on September 18 2007.

Pittsburgh Steelers
On February 5, 2008, Zabransky signed a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he was waived on July 2.

Edmonton Eskimos
Zabransky signed with the Edmonton Eskimos on April 27, 2009.[2] He won the third quarterback spot (behind Ricky Ray and Jason Maas) on the Esks' roster for the '09 season, beating out ex-NFL QB Lester Ricard. Zabransky started preseason game 1 against Saskatchewan on June 17, 2009. He went 10/14 for 109 yards and a touchdown, and scrambled 3 times for 24 yards. In a quarter and a half of play, Zabransky helped put up 11 points on the board.

cool info TGWH. how do you find that stuff out? theres a few ex-college players who i wonder where ,or if,they are playing.

hopefully he does well, he wasn't your prototype qb, not big enough, not a strong enough arm..... but that guy just knew how to win!

Looks like I need to hang over here a little more often with all the BYU and Jazz fans. lol
Our Defense did a great job for us (BYU). Don't forget we gave up a fumble at the 1 yard line for a touch back. I feel we did a better job than they did even when Bradford was in the game, but I'm a Homer, what do I know? :))

I also feel we will get a lot better. We made a ton of mistakes durning the game. Seems like Flags were flying everywhere.

BYU was supposed to be stomped upon with a 22 point margin of victory. So shut up national sports writers. The defense played awesome. Max Hall showed that he can win the big game. He stayed mentally strong in this one. I heard the game on the radio while camping with family and friends. After seeing some highlights, all I can say is it looks like BYU fed their team plenty of wheaties over the off season. Man there were some hard hits.

I'm a little nervous for the Florida state game. Although they lost to Miami, it was because of an incomplete pass to the enzone with 5 secs left. The pass was a little low but catchable. It's a home game, so hopefully FSU leaves witha good spanking.

Hey Killer, I also watched the Boise State vs Oregon game. I was pulling for BSU. What a great game. I'm glad your partial to both teams. BSU needs to come over to the Mountain West Conference, and then the Mountain West should be a BCS conference. Who could argue that with BYU, Utah, TCU, and BSU all consistently ranked. The BCS should go away but if you can beat them join them.

Tell you what I like BYU, but anytime a non-BSC team goes and beats a BSC team I get excited. Sure wish Navy would have beat Ohio State.

I to listened to it on the radio and was FLIPPING STOKED that they beat them.

Great job BYU, they looked more physical and tougher than I've ever seem them or remember. 10sign: 10sign:

the only problem i see for BYU, they started great. that alone should give them a good arguement at the end of the season "IF" they could run the season un-defeated. but just like here in oregon. when oregon and oregon state play. it doesn't matter who's ranked what. either team can win the civil war.

i see about the same thing when BYU and UTAH play. who's going to win that game?

BYU has 3 tough games left. Utah, TCU, and Florida State. Luckily I believe all of them are at home. :thumb

Killer I watch your Ducks, did the offense start bad or was Boise Defense that good. What a sluggish offense. :)

oh my, that was the absolute worst i've ever seen them play. not taking anything from boise state, they are one of my favorite teams also, but 0 first downs in the first half? these college teams could be playing the new england patriots or the steelers, and they should be able to muster up1 first down--- c'mon ducks.

and to top it off, about the most unsportsmanlike move i've ever seen( beside the famouse indian pacers/ detroit pistons brawl) did you see blount, there RB, cold cock that guy at the end? that stupid kid cost himself millions with that punch. mel kiper had him rated as the #2 RB in the nation, now he will not play again his senoir yr. he'll be lucky to get drafet- let alone a solid first rounder like he could have been.

i just hope thos eBYU cougers dont flop like the TY DETMER days come bowl season :)) lol :)) lol

Congrats to BYU. BYU deserves any lift in the polls they get. Here is where my but is. OU has NO offensive line. BYU exposed the truth about OU and quite frankly they were over ranked by at least 15 spots. Sam Bradford is a outstanding young man and an excellent talent and I do believe it very well would have been another story had he played the whole game.

But, once gain before you jump all over my analysis BYU rose to the occasion and deserve the win and Stoops stooped to it.

Please don't get me wrong by this statement. BYU played one heck of a game! But the naysayers (read as those who vote on the rankings) will say that BYU got a break and thus won the game because Bradford got knocked out in the second quarter.

And, yes, I was happy to see BYU win. I've never liked OU since the Barry Switzer days.

Killer is quite the pot stirer. You called it right when you say it doesn't matter whose ranked when it come to the BYU vs Utah game. Some how those two team get up and play beyond their skill level for that game. Even if one team is 5 and 6 going into it, it stil becomes a hard fought game. Definitely one to watch for any college football fan.

BYU is going to win Utah this year. If BYU goes undefeated up to that game and somehow lost it, the only worse possible season would be an 0 and 12 season. Good thing that will never happen.

Go Cougs!

Next year Oklahoma will follow Texas and hire a local junior college to pick on for the first game.
