BYU vs. OSU

BYU does not have a very good bowl record but what I have heard they are taking this game very serious. Should be a good one.

watch out for those rodgers brothers, especially jaquiz {sp??} they make big plays! it ought to be a fun one to watch! [ and rub in.....] :)) lol :)) lol

Here's my take on it.......

If BYU shows up to this game ready, and both teams play to their potential, I think that BYU handles OSU fairly easily, but that is a huge if considering BYU's historic big game performances. I hope that the senior leaders of this BYU team step up and shine for their last game, especially the defense. That' s you Jan Jorgenson and Scott Johnson. If they can find a way to shut down a point scoring OSU offense, I think BYU's offense matches up pretty well against OSU's mediocre defense. GOOD game either way and I'm still working on being one of the 35-40,000 screamin cougar fans in Las Vegas. Good luck to all you Beaver-heads out there, and go Cal over the Utes!!!!-----shooter

What BYU team will show up? I think BYU was a better team than FSU this year. They didn't show up for the game and got slaughtered. The TCU game was a diferent story. TCU is just that good. Bum deal for them that they have to play Boise State and not be able to spank a BSC team. Anyway if Max can keep from turning the ball over and the defense shows, it should be a BYU win. I so echo the go CAL comment. Too many stabs from my Ute fan "friends" have me jaded. The only game in the last several years that I wanted to see the Utes win was the Alabama game.

 Hey Killer if we loose I'll take the rub-in in stride. But just to get some more pregame banter going ...

Hunters like to trap beavers and kill cougars. At least with cougars there is the occasional attack on a human. They get to retaliate. When was the last beaver attack you heard of? lol

I believe the last time I heard of a beaver attack it was from Jeff Foxworthy and ended with a guy missing a nipple. So watch yourself not enough they can get you!!!!
I usally stay awat from the pre-game banter but I am just going to guess BYU cracks under the pressure and let the Beavers whoop em.

 The scary part is that I've seen them do it many times for many big games. It's almost as though they feel hey we here at a bowl game, were getting our money, the seasons over, so we don't really need to play all that hard. I just hope they don't show up with that attitude and come to play a tough game.

BYU seems to lack passion and desire in bowl games, not sure why? Last years game was embarrassing IMO. Same thing could happen this year, I like to think the Cougars will show up this year and play well. [-o<

Time will tell, I think it's going to be a shoot out...and a great game regardless of who wins. I don't think the Cougars will lay over and die this year. lol

I say 34-28 Cougars. Or I hoping so anyway. :)

I know what your saying about them acting like they have lost their fight by the bowl games. That is why I made the prediction I did. I don't really have a favorite between the two to be honest but hopefully it is a good game that both teams come into ready to fight for it!

It was a pretty good game especialy for the BYU fans out there ( Im one of them ) The wind sure made things tough that 6 yard punt by OSU was something else.

keep it coming, i can take it. that was a rough one to watch [ from the OSU bench] that wind was insaine!! but BYU was not going to let either one of the Rodgers brothers beat them. great game plan, because when they stopped those 2, they stopped the whole team.

now i hope the DUCKS play better in the rose bowl. they didn't beat OSU the way BYU did. makes you wonder (???)

anyway, go ahead and lay it on me, i would have givin a little if it was the other way :)) i can take it :thumb

What happened to your Beavers?? THEY took a serious whoopin to the ole front teeth. lol

Great game, GO GOUGARS. The real team showed up and they played really well, was very impressed with the defense and the offense was good also.

Couple of tough breaks on Beavers part, but that's football.
