CA Bird #1 On the Ground...

Just a Jake, but when my daughter decided to spend a hunt with me, I wasn't going to be to choosy...We had a great morning! A lot of gobbles off the roost at the first spot, but no love...Second spot was the kicker with this guy and his twin coming in. Maybe a 5/6 yard shot and 10 yard recovery...Now to get seriuos about birds #2 and #3... <--------)

That looks like a DSD jake decoy, can't tell for sure.

 We were near Jackson a few weeks ago and it was a lot colder than it has been the last 5 years. We still did really well, but we worked hard for the birds we got.

I keep hearing good things about the DSD's. I may have to buy a set for next season.
